Belenn. Beautiful. Bride.
Belenn was such a pleasure to photograph, some people just know what to do in front of a camera....
I cannot wait to photograph her wedding next month when she gets to marry the love of her life, Chris!
Thanks for venturing out in your white dress to get some AMAZING bridal portraits!
Now, a couple of tips for your bridal session:
1. Bring some fiends- a bridesmaid, your mom, somebody that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed and to help tame your dress and veil
2. Eat! A typical session with Megan and I is around 3 hours, a hungry bride doesn't photograph well, also bring some water
3. Schedule your "test-run" with your hair stylist and your makeup artist on the same day as your session (and be sure to snap some extra bobby pins, lip gloss, and hair spray)
4. Schedule your session after your dress alterations but before your final dress cleaning
5. Allow for at least 4 weeks for your photos and prints to be ready for your wedding
6. Have some ideas in mind (it is a good idea to have a general feel for the atmosphere of your portraits, ie: grunge, classic, natural)
7. Break in your shoes... or not-- it is not necessary to wear the same shoes that you will wear on your wedding, as long as they are the same height, it doesn't matter (if you choose to wear heels I would recommend bringing some flip flops for in between photos and locations
8. Bring a white towel or something to put on a dirty ground
9. Bring some fake flowers for a bouquet
10. Relax! I am naturally a goofy person and will try my hardest to get you comfortable in front of my camera. Be prepared to talk, laugh and enjoy yourself-- your portraits will definitely reflect this!
