A moment with Belenn {San Antonio Wedding Photography}

Janet: How did you and Cris meet?
Belenn: Cris and I met on a familiar and popular dating website...Match.com! I was 3 months into my subscription and just when I thought I'd give it a break for a while, he emailed me. We met for coffee at a local coffee house here in Austin on March 27, 2009 and we've been together ever since.

Janet: How did he propose?
Belenn: He had planned out the whole thing, even making a shopping list! He drove down to San Antonio to have dinner with my parents, and also ask them for their permission to marry me. On October 8, 2009, he asked me to meet him for dinner at 7:30p or as soon as I could get out of work. I came home, and noticed a bouquet of flowers in the kitchen in some water, and he had cooked dinner. As we were about to sit down to eat, he took me by the hand and told me, "These are the nights I enjoy the most, and I want to spend all of my nights with you." He then proceeded and dropped down on one knee and said," Make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife, will you marry me?"

Janet: What inspired you to choose this location to be married?
Belenn: We chose Our Lady of Mt. Carmel mainly because that church has so much family history.-On my side. My paternal grandparents donated funds to help facilitate that church, and my parents were married there. I was Baptized there, I made my Reconciliation there, my First Holy Communion, and my Confirmation at that church. The only thing left was to get married there. It's the church I literally grew up going to. While I was in high school I was on the Track team, and I had to choose between competing in the sprint relay at the District meet, or making my Confirmation there at that church. I chose to make my Confirmation, and it was that day that I decided to make the next step in the Catholic faith by getting married there.-When that time came. It's small, quaint, and everything I saw on my wedding day. -Minus the fluorescent lights and crazy priest! Plus Cristobal loved it. He had attended mass with me before he had proposed, and we both knew it was perfect for us.
