The Inn at Craig's Place {San Antonio Wedding Photography}

Had to write a quick note about a wedding I photographed recently. It was the second wedding I have had the pleasure of photographing at The Inn at Craig's Place. Both times I had such a good experience- my couples were totally and completely pampered. This past couple had Kelly (one of the owners) officiate the wedding. She did such a fantastic job, I was truly touched by her sentimental and heartfelt ceremony. The Inn at Craig's Place is one of San Antonio's best kept secrets where each couple is treated with such attentiveness and care that you will not want to leave.

Mallory & Jake {D'Hanis Texas Engagement Photography}

This photography session was filled with unexpected moments, from showing up to a totally unfamiliar town to seizing the moment and capturing some great moments! While in a race to beat the sunset we encountered a truly Texan sunset. Rather than waiting until we got to the next location we pulled over to the center divider and in the words of Emerald Lagasse *BAM*! got some gorgeous photos. We could have been frustrated that a train crossing kept us from our final location but instead hopped out of the car and got some of my favorite frames of the day. Not only are Mallory and Jake easy-going and willing to go along with my hair-brained ideas but they are so very much in love and it is apparent in the images I catch when they aren't even aware of the camera.
Anyways... enjoy!

Ryan & Charles {San Antonio Wedding Photography}

Ryan & Charles are what good movies are made of. These two have known one another since before they were children. Ryan's mom and dad had her and one other daughter. Charles mom and dad had him and one other son. They grew up together (heck once upon a time Ryan's mom had even went to prom with Charles dad!) and never really though much of one another... until on one fishing trip when Ryan was a freshman and Charles was a junior in high school. The two sat on the dock into the late hours of the evening talking... The next day Charles sent his brother over to tell Ryan that he liked her. Nothing really materialized from this but it definitely opened a door that had been previously closed.
Years passed and the two became A&M college students. One chance meeting followed by another not so chance meeting became a 1 1/2 years of dating. While on a trip to San Antonio Charles surprised Ryan and proposed.
They were married at the historic San Jose mission on one of the hottest days of the year, July 31. The chapel was PACKED with people overflowing into any open space! The reception was held at the Pearl Brewery. Let me tell you, this wedding is one of my favorites to date.
Anyways, on to the photos!
