Some Back Country Road {San Antonio Bridal Photography}

This was our bridal session with Anali. Anali wanted to do the shoot at her parents house... because she wanted to incorporate her childhood horse in the session. Typically that isn't a problem, but it was in Kingsville that is about 2 1/2 hours away from San Antonio. We pull up to their house and we see two horses tied up to the tree in front of the house patiently waiting . We go inside and get Anali ready for her shoot, we come back outside to begin the shoot and we see her dad standing there, dressed to impress with her horse waiting for her. He then tells us that he wants to be in some of the pictures...but he didn't want to smile because he "Isn't happy that he is giving her away" LOL At least that was the look he was going for :) Papi ( Anali's dad) was something else! FYI he asked us to call him papi. He wanted all the shots to be just right, especially the ones he was in. As you can tell in some of the still pictures with the horse, that the horses ears are perked up, thats because Alalis dad was behind the camera trying to get the horse to raise its ears. He didnt think the horse looked the best, unless the ears were up. He wanted everything to look so good for her, wanted to make sure his baby girl was happy. Seeing the love he has for anali is truly beautiful. We truly had so much fun attending this session, as well as the wedding. So thankful for my job and the amazing people that I get to meet!

Sisters {San Antonio Wedding Photography}

This picture says a million things to me. This was taken at Cynthia and Ricks's Wedding back in March. The flower girls were adorable to stay the least.The two girls are sisters. It was so sweet to see the older sister guide the younger one around all day. Making sure she knew when to walk down the aisle, or calming her when she didn't want to take pictures. Sisters are always there for each other. This picture makes me think of my sister and all the guiding that she has done for me through out my life. Sisters are the best friend that you will ever have. On a professional note the light is hitting their dresses so perfectly, and the moment was truly captured. Something so tender,this is what we live for!

Tip and Tricks Friday Casual, Relaxed, And Dressy

I thought that I might give some couples some inside tricks on clothing choices for Engagment sessions. First , I have to say Nellie & John are absolutely adorable and so much fun to work with. We did their session in downtown SA and let me tell you it was HOT!!! They came prepared with three out fit choices for example Casual, Relaxed, And Dressy. Nellie had already had the outfits ready to go with her choices picked out, If you are not sure what one might be appropriate then we can always help you. Here are a couple of things to keep in mind when planning on what to wear, and how to plan.
- Accessories!!!! You can never have to many! Earrings, bracelets, watches, necklaces. The more options that you have the better :)
- Shoes- A nice pair of heels or flats. At least 2-3 pairs for the shoot.
- Make sure that all clothing is pressed and wrinkle free. Wrinkles don't photograph too well :)
- Relaxed Clothing- We want to make sure we capture who you are and what you both are about as a couple...We want you to feel comfortable
-Dressy Clothing- Think dinner party with your boss. You want to make sure that you choose an outfit that is timeless. Classy is one word that comes to mind.
-Casual- Think sun dress, or a nice top and jeans. You can really go any way that you want with this outfit choice. You can dress it up or down. Just make sure that the clothing is true to who you are.
Last but not least DETAILS! We love stuff that has a significance to you as a couple. Where it means that you met at a movie theater...so we do something with pop corn...or you met at a baseball game so we do a shoot on a base ball field. Keep details in mind when you are planning your engagement session. Hope this info helped!
