9 Years... Holding Strong

Today is my 9th anniversary. Nine years ago today I married the love of my life, Kimin. We met on September 29, 2000 on of all things a blind-date camping trip. We hit it off instantly and the next day i told my college roommate that he was the one I would marry. After only 9 months we were married. So nine years, 2 countries, 4 states, 3 children, countless guppies, 4 dogs, two goldfish, 7 apartments, one home, and 8 cars... It has been amazing so far and I am so grateful for my husband who is so supportive of my dreams and ambitions. Without him, I would have nothing. Thank you stinky tiger for choosing me to spend forever with.

Maggie & Bobby's Engagement Album {San Antonio Engagement Photography}

I met Maggie and her mom a couple of weeks ago. Maggie is getting married to Bobby on October 16, 2010 at her home. The couple had already picked a photographer but was canceled on due to a pregnancy. I was lucky enough to be chosen by this cute couple to capture their day. Maggie loved the idea of a sign-in photo album like the one I created for Robert and Jenny so she gave me a disc of her engagement photos. After tweaking a few of the images to suite my tastes (because I'm super picky) here is what I created for them.

...and baby makes three... {San Antonio Maternity Photography}

I had my first opportunity to photograph in a studio.  Nina currently works in the same studio that photographs the ads of HEB and other stores and I was lucky enough to use all of that cool lighting equipment!  I have to say... I am addicted!  I cannot wait to move into a larger home (because we are practically bursting from our current one) and have my own studio space.  I have it mapped out already... it will be in a mother-in-law type attachment to the house, have it's own entrance, and plenty of storage for all of my props.  Okay, enough about that.

You may remember Nina from here or here she is a regular with Skeem Photography and one of my favorites to work with!  Being pregnant with baby number there is no better way to celebrate than to take some maternity portraits.  Congratulations Nina... can't wait to photograph your little girl!
